What does Christmas mean to me?
A mother in a manger bed,
a holy infant’s cradled head,
the shepherds and the wise men led.
That’s what Christmas means.

What does Christmas mean to me?
5,000 people blessed and fed,
a healing touch to ease our dread,
one tender voice to raise the dead.
That’s what Christmas means.

What does Christmas mean to me?
A Brother dear, who bowed and bled,
His sacred tears and lifeblood shed.
A cup of water, broken bread.
That’s what Christmas means.

What does Christmas bring to me?
Christ-light that shines unceasingly,
a pathway home for all to see,
salvation for eternity.
That’s what Christmas brings.

Our spirits know what Christmas means.
A precious baby in a stall,
a plan to lift man from the Fall,
a Savior, born to raise us all.
Christmas means everything.
