ani-hello(Is anybody home in there?)

I do not like arithmetic.
The numbers turn out wrong.
My twos and threes end up where
fives and sixes should belong.

My sevens often look like ones.
The fours turn out like nines.
All numbers drive me crazy,
and so do their silly signs.

A minus (-) sign with two dots (÷)
means divide. Ridiculous!
A times (x) sign lying on its side
is suddenly a plus (+).

And word problems just strain my brain.
What should the answer be?
“How many cents would you make…?” NONE!
This makes NO CENTS to me!
