Grief is a journey.
Where does it end?

Over the rainbow,
round the bend,
by the brook,
across the lane,
past the moon
and back again,
through the trees,
down the hill,
on the move,
standing still?

Which way? How long?
Where’s the door
to the peace
that went before?
(Precious peace
that is no more.)

Looking up,
the lost can see
One who whispers,
“Follow me.”

Christ: the way,
the door, the key.
