The dirtiest word
I’ve ever heard is
“sickness.”
Pneumonia
is a menace,
that’s for sure.
There is nothing
like a virus
to undo, unnerve
and tire us
while we stumble
helplessly
in search of cure.
It’s the most
frustrating feeling
rather like a
tortured dream
and I’m just so
sick of
sickness
I could
scream.
