Life is a sea –
an ever-changing flow,
awash in sights and sounds
we come to know,
our spirits free.

Life carries us
in rising swells of years.
High tides/low tides,
we break in joy and tears
upon the sand.

Launched on dry land,
how shall the heart recall
(despite our strength)
that God is over all,
that we are His?

The answer lies
in Living Water, pure.
As we endure – (each rise,
each fall) a Brother’s
vow is kept.

We are swept up,
lifted, released a while.
The cycle sacred,
offering each child
a lasting place –
a Savior’s grace.

Sweet, saving sea.
Life’s beauty knows no end.
Blessed or bereft,
our Master stands as friend –
His way secure.

His promise, sure.

Life is a beautiful thing, in all of its challenges. No matter what our circumstances, and in every way that matters, we can and will emerge victorious. Because of who and Whose we are, in earth as in heaven, peace is possible. Salvation is attainable. And that is His atoning gift to every one of us.
