Some men shall rise to everlasting burnings.
Celestial glory is the prize they seek.
Others will bow to worldly praise and guidance,
esteeming things that render spirits weak.

The cunningness of men may blind and baffle,
but faithful, searching souls are given to see
that earthly treasures hold no lasting value,
while heaven’s treasures last eternally.

The choice is placed before us; shall we rise?
Will exaltation be our goal on earth?
Or will we trade a place with God forever,
beguiled by empty treasures of the earth?

If we would hear Well done, thou faithful servant
and reap the blessings such a phrase imparts;
then we must mark the way, carving His image
in everlasting burnings on our hearts.

Who among us shall dwell in everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place a defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Isaiah 33:14-16

Joseph Smith testified that the righteous would live in “everlasting burnings,” meaning that they would dwell with the Lord and in His glory forever.
