Born of God’s love, we are born into love;
then love is born in us, if we are wise.
Good seeds are given, but it’s ours to plant them,
to raise them underneath uncertain skies.

Soft rain will fall and feed – hard rain will plunder.
Sunlight will shine or hide behind a cloud.
The ground inside us will be parched or fertile,
as life on earth humbles or finds us proud.

We’ll do things well at times; some days, we’ll falter –
earn victory or fall down in defeat –
walk up the straight and narrow path quite surely
or take a detour with our wandering feet.

This world will try us. We cannot avoid it,
but as God’s children, we are filled with light.
Love is our power, purpose, prize, solution.
It grows…we grow…when we see with His sight.

And seeing others, we can see ourselves
in all the grace and glory we possess.
Each one of us a child of hope and promise.
Each one of us designed for happiness.

Our Father loves His children, nothing sparing.
To love as He loves grants us everything.
Accept the gift. Share freely – without limits.
Use God’s love as your own, and make hearts sing.

And now behold, I say unto you … if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if
ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love … can ye feel so now? Alma 5:26
