LDS temple work

My photo of the LDS Temple in Newport Beach

Today, this long-awaited day,
such bright son-light emerged!
A sacred purpose was fulfilled
as heaven and earth converged.

One temple spire reached toward the sky;
one spirit gained new ground,
while blessings flown on eagles’ wings
went soaring, glory-bound.

The Lord is good to us, His children.
Life is reconciled.
He opens doors, creates a way
for each beloved child…

on garden(ed) paths and wild.

For our son, upon the completion of his temple work. You are forever a joy in our lives, Todd, and we look forward to a wonderful reunion one day.
