hearts together, secrets shared
disagreements, gently aired
private jokes and public smirks
comfort with each other’s quirks

same timeline, same history
little left to mystery
laughing hard enough to cry
holding hands as years go by

being on her side (it’s good)
buddies, best friends – sisterhood
