Scatter wishes to the wind
to give them a head start.
Don’t give up on “let’s pretend”
or wash off sidewalk art.

Float your dreams like red balloons.
Don’t forget your “goodnight moons.”
Dishes run away with spoons.
Take part.

Find the child that lives within your heart.
