mom-baby
The baby spits, and mother smiles.
If I spit, she gets mad.
She shakes her head when I burp but
when baby burps, she’s glad.

He screams, and Mom drops everything
to run in on the double
but if I scream, Mom glares at me
and says I’m making trouble.
