I ask you, Will a man rob God?
My heart would answer nay.
It’s hard to think a child of His
would thus be led astray.

Yet there are those among us
who would cheat Him of His due,
returning dust for diamonds
without honor or review.

The Lord has spoken clearly,
as He did in days of old.
A tenth upon His altar causes
blessings to unfold.

No need to focus anxiously
on what we can afford.
Just open the windows of heaven,
and wait upon the Lord.

”Prove me now herewith…if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and
pour you
out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
Malachi 3:10
