Life hurts. Love heals.
God allows us all the feels.
Hardship rains down on our hearts –
clouds our vision, stops our starts.

Peace arrives on wings of love –
angels, called by heaven above.
Spirit helpmates, earthly friends
lift us till the trouble ends.

Outcomes matter to us all.
Will we rise, or will we fall?
From the body to the soul,
only One can make us whole.

By His grace, we walk on earth,
born to trouble from our birth.
Healing comes to those who pray,
but it comes in Christ’s own way.

Body, spirit, mind, and heart –
closely tied yet worlds apart.
God’s gifts are divine in deed,
customized to each child’s need.

When we to our knees are driven,
may we praise the healing given
in whatever form it takes,
His succor fashioned for our sakes.

Life hurts. Love heals.
God allows us all the feels.
