What’s tall and dark and furry,
has big teeth, but still acts tame?
Our M – O – N – S – T – E – R …
(Sssh! He can’t stand that name.)

You see, he thinks he’s just a guy
who needs a little trim.
But you could cut for days and never
get a look at him.

He’s awfully large and hairy,
but we do admire his style;
and those teeth come in handy
when he smiles his monster smile.

Sure, he’s a little sensitive,
but we don’t mind one bit.
A monster’s hard to come by,
so we make the best of it!
